Schools, libraries, supermarkets, churches, parks, and the local Y are good places to start. If you really want to draw a crowd, hand out printed bookmarks with the history of Read Across America printed on one side and news about your event printed on the other side. With a little creativity, you’re certain to find dozens of ways to utilize this Read Across America to pack your event with droves of eager readers!
