Coming straight outta… FlyerHeroes! Well, the inspiration for this design is certainly no secret. “Straight Outta Compton” is dominating the movie charts, so I figured it would make the perfect motif for an old skool hip-hop flyer.
“Straight Outta” is a free old-school hip-hop flyer template for rap events and hip-hop nightclubs.
Before we get carried away, I must say that this free flyer template is in no way associated with or endorsed by the Straight Outta Compton movie. It’s simply art that I have created as a fan and decided to share with you (for free).
There is a lot that newbie designers can learn by downloading this template and digging into the structure of the Photoshop file.

I can’t wait to see this free template being put to use. I imagine seeing it pasted up outside colleges with the text changed to “Straight Outta College“, or to the name of your local town.
On many levels, this free flyer is a great design. The “Straight Outta Compton” influence offers an instantly relatable old-school hip-hop style. It’s also simple, minimal, and easy to customize.
Further adding to the urban/hip-hop vibe, we’ve thrown in a custom-made 3D microphone render. I’ve also added some spots of dirt and grime with folded paper textures to give the design an authentic aged feel.
If you’re a DJ/MC/promoter at hip-hop events or the designer who puts together their flyers, you’re simply gonna love this free template.
